Monitoring Advocate

Disability Rights New Mexico, a legal rights center for persons with disabilities, seeks full-time Monitoring Advocate to conduct monitoring visits to facilities and programs providing treatment or otherwise serving our constituents.  This Monitoring Advocate will conduct systemic outreach, training, short-term advocacy assistance, and investigation of abuse or neglect allegations to people such as those in psychiatric facilities, group homes, and detention centers.  Applicants should have at least a Bachelor’s degree.  Persons with disabilities and minorities encouraged to apply, bilingual a plus.  E-mail letter of interest and resume to galavizl@drnm.org with “Monitoring Advocate” in subject line no later than March 13, 2026.

Advocate

Disability Rights New Mexico, a legal rights center for persons with disabilities, seeks full-time Advocate for our clients’ casework to access needed services, redress discrimination, and achieve equal opportunity.  This Advocate may also conduct monitoring visits to service programs and do some systemic outreach and training.  Applicants should have at least a Bachelor’s degree.  Persons with disabilities and minorities encouraged to apply, bilingual a plus.  E-mail letter of interest and resume to galavizl@drnm.org with “Advocate” in subject line no later than March 13, 2026.
