In April 2025, DRNM staff attorney Jesse Clifton received an award from the NM Children’s Law Institute (CLI) for Excellence in Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice. Jesse has dedicated his career to advocating for the most vulnerable children in our state, as he has led groundbreaking efforts such as the Kevin S. settlement and M.G. v. Armijo litigation. Jesse’s unwavering committment, legal expertise, and compassionate leadership have created meaningful change at both the individual and systemic levels. Congratulations, Jesse!
